1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing iplayfsa.com or participating in the fantasy sports leagues ("Services") provided by Fantasy Sports Alliance ("FSA," "we," "us," "our"), you ("User") agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and the published rules of each league in which you participate. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. Eligibility
- Age Requirement: Users must be at least 18 years old to register or participate.
- Legal Restrictions: Participation is void where prohibited by law. Users are responsible for ensuring their eligibility under local laws, including state regulations regarding paid fantasy sports.
3. Member Accounts
- Registration: Users must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it current.
- Approval: All new accounts are reviewed by the Commissioner before activation. FSA may decline any registration.
- One Manager per Franchise: Each franchise is managed by one account holder. Users may not share account access or manage a franchise assigned to another member.
- Security: Users are responsible for keeping their sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under their account.
- Live and Legacy Accounts: An account remains live while the member participates in an FSA league. When the member is no longer participating, the account becomes a legacy account. If the member returns, the legacy account is reactivated.
4. League Rules and Commissioner Authority
- League Rules: Each league is governed by its published rules, available on that league's Rules page. League rules are part of these Terms. In matters of league play, the league rules control.
- Commissioner Authority: The Commissioner interprets and enforces league rules. Commissioner decisions are final.
5. Third-Party Platforms
- League Hosting: FSA leagues operate on MyFantasyLeague (MFL) and Yahoo Fantasy Sports. Lineups, roster moves, trades, and other transactions submitted through iplayfsa.com are processed by those platforms, and their terms of service also apply.
- Processing: A transaction is complete only when the hosting platform accepts it.
- Availability: FSA is not responsible for outages, delays, or errors of third-party platforms.
6. Participation and Fees
- Free Access: Access to the website is free. Entry into a league requires the participation fee stated in that league's rules.
- Payments: All league fees and prize payouts are handled through LeagueSafe.com. Users must comply with LeagueSafe's terms and conditions.
7. Prizes
- League Prizes: League winners receive cash prizes as specified in each league's rules, paid through LeagueSafe.com.
- FSA Sunday Ticket: Prizes consist of a discount for the following year, as described in the contest rules, and have no cash value.
- Tax Obligations: Users are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on winnings.
8. User Conduct
- Prohibited Actions: Users shall not engage in fraud, collusion, or any form of cheating.
- Fair Play: Users must follow league rules and maintain the integrity of the competition.
- Respect: Users must treat fellow members and FSA staff with respect in all league communications and on FSA channels.
9. Public Display
- League Information: Team names, results, standings, records, league history, and manager names may appear on the site, in FSA broadcasts, and on FSA social media channels.
- Member Privacy: Whenever available and appropriate, FSA displays manager names as first name and last initial. See our Privacy Policy for details.
10. Suspension and Termination
- Enforcement: FSA may suspend or close any account that violates these Terms or league rules.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Arbitration: All disputes arising from participation shall be resolved through local arbitration in Georgia, in accordance with Georgia's arbitration laws.
12. Intellectual Property
- Ownership: All content, trademarks, and logos on the website are the property of Fantasy Sports Alliance and are protected by intellectual property laws.
13. Limitation of Liability
- No Warranty: Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- Liability Cap: Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the User for participation in the specific league from which the claim arises.
14. Changes to Terms
- Modification: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
- Notification: Members will be notified of significant changes by email or by a prominent notice on the site.
15. Governing Law
- Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
